Today's high definition televisions are state of the art and very complex. In day's gone by it was possible to get reliable repairs from many servicers even if they were not factory authorized as the complexity of the sets were not what they are today. It takes a lot more technology to achieve the quality of picture found on today's televisions. Components such as tubes are now a thing of the past. They have been replaced with surface mounted semiconductors and 4-layer circuit boards. A factory authorized
servicer has a lot of knowledge and resources at hand. They are able to
directly communicate with the manufacturer of your set and receive constant
updates as to circuit modifications and improvements. The servicer can
communicate directly to technical support and is more able to obtain difficult-to-find
parts. The factory authorized servicer is required to continually maintain
their education through new product training and seminars. In addition,
the factory authorized servicer is carefully monitored by the manufacturer
to be certain that they maintain minimum standards of excellence in customer
relations, repair quality and speed of repair. On-site spot checks of
the repair facility are sporadically performed and customer feedback forms
are sent to many customers to insure their satisfaction. |
